Baleno is in huge demand and supply is relatively low, so waiting period is over 6 months. While other cars of same brand and competitors are easily available so as we need to know “Is Baleno worth the wait ?” or should we move to competitors.
My Personal Opinion is wait.
“Wait for Baleno it’s worth it.”
The reasons are obvious. Starting from the brand value of Maruti Suzuki to Safety features to Features of the car.
Maruti Suzuki has been consistently the best Seller for decades. We have seen its journey from Maruti 800 to Swift dzire now to Baleno and S-Cross.
The brand name of Maruti Suzuki commands trust among Indians. Spare parts are easily available, mechanics is not a problem. Maintenance cost is low. Good Milage and what not.
Maruti Baleno is the only maruti car which have basics safety features standard across all variants. Basic safety features like ABS, EBD are available even in base model delta.
In all other cars these features are available only in their top models. For example if you decide to buy maruti suzuki swift dzire these safety features will be available only in top variants like zxi and zdi. No doubt this is an added advantage.
Euro NCAP review the safety features of Baleno and Detailed report is here . Baleno Safety Audit. While all other Indian cars have failed measurable Baleno got 3 and 4 star rating from NCAP.
While all other competitions of Baleno whether it be Hyundai i20 elite or Honda Amaze or Sister Concert Maruti Swift dzire has been in market for some time now (read decade), Baleno is a new comer with head turning style. So if you want some thing new, more stylish from an established brand like Maruti Suzuki it worth the wait.
It’s Being Exported
Export is one of the major reasons for waiting period of over 6 months. Maruti Suzuki Baleno is the first car made in India to be exported to more than 100 countries including European Countries and developed countries like Japan. You must be aware of the strict quality controls in these European Countries. The exports variant of baleno is slightly different from what we have in India. It’s Baleno RS which include a booster engine and extra safety features.
Waiting Period Will Decrease
Gujarat Plant of Maruti Suzuki will be able to roll out Baleno from Feb. 2017 increased supply will be able to meet the increasing demand. Also major reason for such long waiting period is Fire at Maruti Suzuki Gurgaon plant, which is now operational.
With these positive inputs we are expecting waiting period of Baleno to come down.
“HOPE YOU WILL DRIVE YOUR OWN BALENO SOON”
