Maruti Suzuki Launched Ignis on 13th January 2017 and withing 10 days of its launch it has been success. Just like Baleno and Vitara Breeza its booking period has crossed a mark of 3 months. It is important to note that Maruti Suzuki is the most selling brand in India with more than 50% marked share.

Initially with the launch of Ignis the Company clarified that that for Petrol Variants waiting period will be of 6-8 weeks and for diesel variants it will be of 8-10 weeks. When I visited Nexa Showroom in Gwalior yesterday I was told that the waiting period for petrol variant is 3 months and 3.5 to 4 months for Diesel model.

Ignis Booking Period: What to Expect

As Ignis is one of the premium cars by Maruti Suzuki available at Nexa Showroom. It is expected to have high demands due to its features. We at cool cars expect that the waiting period of Ignis will increase many folds and soon it will cross 6 months waiting by March. Ignis is going to give tough competition to other cars of Maruti Suzuki like Swift and WagonR.

Baleno and Ignis are going to be in top 10 most selling cars in 2016 may be in top 5. So, if you are willing to buy a small Compact crossover Car its time to book. The best thing is you can cancel at any moment of time without any extra cost.

Just to remind Baleno have a waiting period of 6-8 months depending on city and model. Beside Baleno Vitarra Breeze have a waiting or booking period of 7-8 months.

Ignis Booking Period: Reasons

The main reason of such high booking period is the high demand of cars by Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki has been a household name in India. Maruti Suzuki is one of the most trusted brands in India. It has given many successful cars starting from Alto to Swift dzire.

Seeing the high demand new plant of Maruti Suzuki was started in Gujarat. The production has started and we can expect some increase in production.
